A flock of Flight Centre volunteers, “Flighties” got stuck in, and prepped and sold Brisbane’s iconic Ekka Strawberry Sundae in King George Square in Brisbane yesterday.

Flight Centre supported Queensland growers and were a big part of the volunteers who at the end of the day, sold 14,000 strawberry sundaes at the sell out event in the city centre.

The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation and ABC Radio Brisbane brought back the Ekka inspired sundaes for one day only with all profits going to the Qld Strawberry Growers Association.
